BREVARD COUNTY • PALM SHORES, FLORIDA –  Touch of Grey Rescue is an amazing partner with our Animal Care Center as they work hard each and every day to find forever homes for “senior dogs” in our facility and other facilities throughout central Florida.

In an effort to help them continue to do the incredible life-saving work they do, myself and several other members of our community are joining forces for a good ole fashion “Bark B Que” and also some healthy competition as we compete against each other in Axe Throwing at “The Backyard” Axe Throwing Center in Palm Shores.

There will be all sorts of prizes and even the “Wheel of Furtune” where attendees have a chance to win some great prizes including a ride along with me as we go out and back up our Deputies on various types of calls.

So be sure to get your tickets while they last and join me on October 10, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. as I teach AJ Hiers of Boniface Hiers Automotive, Mayor Paul Alfrey, Mayor Rob Medina, Mayor Carol McCormick, County Commissioner Kristine Zonka, Touch or Grey Owner Wendy Johnson, U.S. Veteran Jerome DeFrank, BCFR District Chief Tom Neidert, and of course, my beautiful wife Susan Ann, how to throw an axe while also raising money to help save senior dogs in our community.

We will also have Bocce Ball, Cornhole, and other games available for everyone to play, as well as great food and music for everyone to enjoy throughout the event.

So what are you waiting for…let’s all work together to find forever homes for homeless senior dogs right here in our community.

– Sheriff Wayne Ivey
