The Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer team moved up to No. 2 in the latest NJCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Poll released on Monday. (EFSC image)

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer team moved up to No. 2 in the latest NJCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Poll released on Monday.

The Titans won the Region 8 title on Saturday night, defeating Daytona State College 2-0 for the title. Eastern Florida State College will host Spartanburg Methodist College Saturday night at 8 p.m. in the South Atlantic District Championship at Orlando Health Stadium on the Melbourne campus.

The Titans have been ranked in the top five all season and are No. 2 for the first time this season.

Tyler Junior College remains No. 1 in the poll with Seminole State, Oklahoma third, Iowa Western fourth, and Salt Lake fifth.

Saturday night’s South Atlantic District Championship will be free to attend and will also be shown live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
