MUSTANGS WILL FACE ROCKLEDGE IN A CROSS-TOWN REMATCH ON FRIDAY AT THE O-DOME

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Merritt Island Mustangs demolished the Leesburg Yellow Jackets 50-0 Friday night at the O-Dome in the first round of the Class 5A playoffs.

Merritt Island will now face cross-town rival Rockledge Raiders who shut out Seabreeze tonight 41-0 in Daytona Beach. You can watch the game replay on Space Coast Daily TV below.

The Mustangs (10-1), the newly crowned Class 5A District 8 champs, opened their postseason bid against a Leesburg squad that is coming off a humiliating 40-0 loss to Lake Minneola last week. Meanwhile, the Mustangs are coming off a thrilling 19-18 win over Viera last week.
