A 24-year-old Melbourne woman has died after the motorcycle she was driving struck a concrete barrier on Pineda Causeway near Patrick Drive.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A 24-year-old Melbourne woman has died after the motorcycle she was driving struck a concrete barrier on Pineda Causeway near Patrick Drive.

Authorities say the crash happened around 2:40 a.m. ET when she lost control of the motorcycle for an unknown reason.

The result of the crash caused the woman to be ejected from the bike, where she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation.
