Brevard Public Schools Board Member Matt Susin to Keynote Brevard Federated Republican Women Luncheon Jan. 5

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard Federated Republican Women will host their lunch meeting on Wednesday, January 5, at the Space Coast Convention Center, located at 103 Tucker Lane behind the Holiday Inn Express.

The guest speaker will be Matt Susin who serves on the Brevard Public Schools board. He is parent, former teacher and businessman.

Susin is an advocate of moving the school board toward providing the best education for students and the hiring and retention of the very best teachers.

Among his goals are eliminating common core and other mandates, overhauling school discipline policy and partnering with businesses, churches, and civic groups to provide mentoring, firsthand life experiences, and real-world internships.

The Brevard Federated Republican Women have been empowering women in the political field since 1950 and are members of the Florida Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women.

The meeting  will begin at 11 a.m. and a fee of $25 includes a lunch entrée of Tuscan Chicken with Penne Alfredo, salad rolls, and dessert.  Advanced reservations are required and must be made by noon on Friday, Dec. 31.
