BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – April is National Credit Union Youth Month, with a focus on financial literacy for young people.

Launch Credit Union is offering two free interactive sessions: one on Tuesday, April 28, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at its Orange City branch, 2277 Veterans Memorial Parkway, and another on Thursday, April 30, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the YMCA in Titusville, 2400 Harrison St.

The $mart $tart program is open to anyone ages 12-18 who is interested in learning to compare payment cards and use credit cards responsibly. Participants who pre-register and attend will receive a free Launch Credit Union swag backpack and pizza.

To encourage young people to start saving early, Launch Credit Union is offering $50 to open a new youth account.

Anyone 18 and younger who opens a savings account in April will receive a $50 deposit. Click Here for details.
