BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Though masks may have hidden their smiles, it was still abundantly clear how hundreds of Florida Tech students felt as they received their diplomas at the university’s two fall commencement ceremonies on Dec. 18: excited, happy, and focused on what’s next.

For many, that will mean heading into the workforce. Others will continue on in classrooms and labs as they seek advanced degrees.

All of them can now call themselves Florida Tech Panthers for life.

Florida Tech conferred 749 degrees across the two ceremonies, including for 189 students who completed their coursework through Florida Tech Online and 131 who attended classes at the university’s off-campus education centers.

At the 9:30 a.m. undergraduate ceremony, more than 230 students crossed the stage; the 2 p.m. graduate ceremony saw more than 335 participants. (Florida Tech image)
