The mental wellness company, 2130 Labs aims to remedy the medication issues regarding the mental health problems of people through combining AI technology and plant-based medicine.

We sat down with Dov Katz, the co-founder of 2130 Labs, and asked him a few questions about his life and professional goals.

How do you see your company in the future? What services does your company provide?

2130 Labs focuses to prepare medical equipment that can handle natural extracts. We are making a device with the shape of an inkjet printer.

With the help of this device, we can combine a group of packages of natural materials for developing a customized treatment for every person with mental health issues.

After every use, the device provides feedback and according to the feedback, our AI adjusts the next treatment by ensuring a perfect match for each one. Considering what Spotify does in music, our device does the same on the ground of mental wellness.

We expect that we can help to cure the patients with sleep problems, anxiety, depression, concentration, energy, overweight, etc.

Our aim is to develop a product by combining material and software. The AI and data of the device help us to resolve the complicated problem of corresponding between the natural material and mental state or genetics in order to find out the most apposite treatment for everyone.

What problems can your product cure?

The absenteeism of precision and customization is the major problem that our field faces. Both these occur due to the difficulty of producing an exact dose of ingredients and the necessity to recognize complicated human chemistry, system, and problem. Our product can solve this by using AI, data, and hardware.

When was your company established?

The company was established over a year ago. We now have about 10 employees. The company plans to merge into a public company on the Canadian Stock Exchange in the upcoming months.

Is your current company suitable for the Israeli market?

At first, we are aiming to sell in North America. In any case, the Israeli market is small. But in terms of employees, in Israel there are a lot of people with the relevant skills, so it is a great place for this type of company.

What are your hobbies?

In my spare time I like to play Soccer, computer games, do various sports and go on nature walks with my family.

What is the most unique technological venture you have participated in?

All the ventures were special and fortunately I enjoyed them all. Each one has the ability to have a significant impact on the world and people, and each contains significant technological challenges. And, as I mentioned, they were all at the crossroads of hardware and software.
