BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA VILLAGE, FLORIDA – Several members of the Cocoa Beach Police Department and their families participated in the annual Run for Responders 5k benefiting Survive First and honoring those who serve, or have served, our communities.

Ofc. Matt Teat and Support Services Administrator Kelli Jones took 2nd place in their age group.

Survive First is a nonprofit organization, whose mission is to assist first responders and families who need mental health support from the impact of PTSD, depression, and substance abuse.

At Survive First, their staff is comprised of a passionate and dedicated team ready to assist any first responder or family member in need.

They take great pride in the work we do together for the mission of our organization, to bring only the best education and resources to the first responder community.
