SCRUBBED: SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket Launch Halted Due to Inclement Weather in Cape Canaveral

ABOVE VIDEO: SpaceX is ready to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Friday.

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX launch team has scrubbed Friday’s Falcon 9 rocket launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station for the second day in a row.

Next launch is targeted for 6:11 p.m. ET on Saturday.

The rocket will carry the second COSMO-SkyMed Second Generation, or CSG 2, radar surveillance satellite for ASI, the Italian space agency.

Following first-stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to recover the booster engine on  a drone ship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
