BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – The Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson and Orville Susong were live with another episode of “Stories of Service,” which honors Brevard County Veterans on Space Coast Daily TV.

During this edition, Donn Weaver, Chairman of Brevard Veterans Council and The Daughters of the American Revolution recognized Vietnam era Veterans and surviving spouses.

“Since 1978 the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center and Council have taken on many missions to support over 70,000 Brevard Veterans and their families as well as to help all citizens and visitors learn firsthand about what U.S. veterans have contributed to making our country great,” said Weaver.

“With an amazing array of military artifacts ranging from the Revolutionary War to our current conflicts in the Middle East, we strive to educate the public on our military’s efforts both past and present in our free museum, library, plaza and park.”

In future editions of “Stories of Service,” Steve and Orville will continue to show upcoming events for the Memorial Center, talking about what they have to offer and promoting other veterans’ events to be held around the county.
