Titusville Man Hospitalized After Drive-By Shooting on Hopkins Avenue and Roosevelt Street

Titusville Police are investigating the shooting of a local man that happened Friday afternoon around 2:45 p.m. near Hopkins Avenue and Roosevelt Street.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police are investigating the shooting of a local man that happened Friday afternoon around 2:45 p.m. near Hopkins Avenue and Roosevelt Street.

The preliminary investigation revealed the adult male victim and another man were walking on the east side of Hopkins Avenue, when the suspect(s), driving an unidentified vehicle traveling northbound on Hopkins Avenue, fired several gun shots in their direction.

The man shot was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say early evidence has revealed this incident was not random.

This incident is an active ongoing investigation.
