BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Brevard Public Schools board members took a trip to Astronaut High School for a Trades Tour to learn more about their Health & Wellness, Construction, and Collision Repair courses.

The BPS Trades Tour includes dates to highlight all remaining high schools in Brevard Public Schools in the coming weeks.

The Trades Tours have been a great success with parents, students, and members of the community as it highlights some of the unique opportunities students have inside BPS to build job skills as they prepare to enter the workforce and/or continue their education at the next level.

Last month, via Space Coast Daily TV, more than 25,000 viewers watched students engage in welding, tuning cars, calibrating boat motors, and even working on jet aircraft.

The Satellite High School BPS Trades Tour on Tuesday was led by BPS Superintendent Dr. Mark Mullins who was very excited to see all of the programs that the school had to offer.

The next BPS Trades Tour stop is on April 7 at Cocoa High School. Stay tuned for full coverage on Space Coast Daily TV.
