BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Eau Gallie Commodores football star Robert Stafford has officially committed to the University of Miami.
The four-star athlete chose the University of Miami over Georgia, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Oregon.
Stafford mentioned he will likely be playing the defensive back position at the next level.
He is the No. 194 prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He ranks as the nation’s No. 8 athlete and the No. 37 junior prospect in Florida.
The 5-foot-11, 171-pounder has offers to play cornerback and wide receiver at the next level.
Stafford chose his top five after having big-time offers from programs including Ohio State, Florida State, University of Florida, and Penn State to just name a few.
