FHSAA Recharters Mid-Coast Officials Association to Provide Boys Lacrosse Sports Officials

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Mid-Coast Officials Association (MCOA) announced the Florida High School Athletic Association has re-chartered the MCOA to provide Boys Lacrosse Sports Officials services in Brevard, Indian River and Volusia counties.
“We are excited to again serve our local area with Boys Lacrosse Officials,” said Steve Muzzy, MOCA President.
“MCOA has proudly served our local area for over 40 years. We always strive for excellence in our services and we routinely have officials working State Championship games every year.”
The MCOA invites all local Boys Lacrosse officials to register with MCOA via the FHSAA and our website.
Javier Mazza has been selected as the interim MCOA leader for Boys Lacrosse and will be nominating an appointed Commissioner until the Boys Lacrosse officials elect a commissioner for the upcoming spring season.
Javier Mazza has done an amazing job in providing quality officiating services for the sport of Girls Lacrosse and the goal is to replicate that success for the boy teams we support.
We look forward to working with Friends of Brevard Lacrosse and encourage interested persons to register as Boys Lacrosse officials.
The MCOA and its partners will provide the necessary training and support to get you game ready for the upcoming season. Our website, www.mcoa.org will provide all of the registration guidance and contact information if you have questions.
