Defending Champion Eastern Florida State Women’s Soccer Remains at No. 1 in Latest NJCAA Division I Poll

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer team remains the No. 1 team in the latest NJCAA Division I poll released on Monday.
The Titans, who are undefeated and the defending national champions, head into the week 2-0 on the season and play Laramie County Community College and are back at Orlando Health Stadium Saturday night to play Southwestern Illinois College at 7 p.m.
The top five of the NJCAA Division I poll stayed the same as Tyler Junior College is No. 2, with Seminole State three, Salt Lake Community College fourth, and Monroe College rounding out the top five.
Daytona State College enters the poll at No. 20.
Eastern Florida State College is also No. 1 in the United Soccer Coaches NJCAA preseason poll. The next United Soccer Coaches poll will be on Sept. 6.
Admission to Orlando Health Stadium is free and Saturday night’s game will be shown live on WEFS-TV, which is channel 9 or 455 on Spectrum, 68 on DirecTV, 30 on Dish, and 68 on AT&T Uverse.
