One Adult, Two Juveniles Suffer Non-Life-Threatening Injuries After Being Shot in Unincorporated Cocoa

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred last night, September 3, 2022, in unincorporated Cocoa.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday night, September 3, 2022, in unincorporated Cocoa. Deputies responded at approximately 10 p.m. in reference to a report that a person had been shot.

Upon arrival, deputies located an adult and two juveniles who reported being shot while riding in a vehicle in the area of Burnett Road and State Road 520.

All of the victims were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing as Sheriff’s Office Agents attempt to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

The Sheriff’s Office is not releasing the names of the victims at this time and no arrests have been made.
