Parrish Healthcare Offers Free Diabetes Education Class Feb. 27 in Titusville

Monthly meetings take place from 2:30 –4:30 pm

BREVARD COUNTY, Titusville, FLORIDA— (January 23, 2023)—Parrish Healthcare is offering a free community education class on diabetes.

Decoding Diabetes will take place on Monday, February 27, from 2:30 to 4:30 pm, at Parrish Medical Center’s Heritage Hall, 931 N. Washington Avenue, Titusville (just south of Parrish Medical Center’s main campus on the corner of Jess Parrish Court and US-1).

Decoding Diabetes is led by Parrish Healthcare’s Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist.

This fun, interactive, and instructional class designed for people age 18 and older with diabetes and will include information on:

• Nutrition and meal planning
• Physical wellness
• Preventing complications
• Much more!

Diabetes is a complex disease. Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, Peggy McLaughlin, RN, will decode diabetes during this fun, interactive and instructional class.
