BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Support the local youth on the Space Coast at Melbourne Beach’s first-ever Kids Business Fair, showcasing children’s entrepreneurial genius.

The event is set to take place on March 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Melbourne Beach Kids Business Fair will host over 75 budding entrepreneurs ages 6-17 at Ryckman Park.

Kids will sell everything, including handcrafted jewelry, tasty baked goods, homemade pet treats, and spa essentials. Some children will even be offering services like fun carnival games, face painting, and balloon animals!

There will be something for everyone, so don’t miss this one-day opportunity to see what the children have come up with.

As part of the Kid’s Business Fair, children create a product or service, develop a brand, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at this one-day marketplace.

The children are responsible for the setup, sales, and customer interaction.

This event is sponsored by Acton Academy, Djon’s Steak and Lobster, Djon’s Village Market, RubeMedispa, and the generous support of our donors and volunteers, who all believe that principled entrepreneurs are heroes and role models for the next generation.

“Today’s youth are tomorrow’s business innovators and leaders. The Kid’s Business Fair gives children the opportunity to spread their entrepreneurial wings and get a head start on promising business careers,” said Jeff Sandefer, founder of the Acton School of Business, one of the sponsors of the fair.

Leila Samuel, one of the kid entrepreneurs, has been working hard on making homemade soaps and sea glass necklaces for the fair.

“I can’t wait to have a booth at the March Fair! Plus, I’m excited to shop all of the other booths,” said Samuel.

Prizes will be awarded in each of the five age groups (6-7, 8-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17) for “Most Business Potential,” “Most Creative Idea,” and “Most Impressive Presentation.”

Melbourne Beach Mayor Wyatt Hoover, Vice Principal Rosado of Gemini Elementary, and Mrs. Hays of Gemini Elementary will judge the booths.

This event will also include live entertainment and performances from local kid groups, plus food trucks and snacks.

For every $5 or more purchase, you will get a free raffle ticket to enter one of many great prizes, including a $100 Djons gift certificate. Shop a kid business, and support a big dream.
