Eastern Florida State Men’s Basketball No. 7 Seed for the NJCAA Region VIII Tournament

Titans will play No. 2 seed Daytona State College march 9
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team is the No. 7 seed for the FCSAA/NJCAA Region VIII Men’s Basketball Championships.
The Titans will play No. 2 seed Daytona State College in the first round of the tournament at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Florida next Thursday, March 9. The game will open the men’s tournament at 2 p.m. EDT.
The teams are both in the Central Conference and have met three times this season with the Falcons winning two of the three.
Chipola is the No. 1 seed and will play No. 8 seed Miami Dade in the 7 p.m. game. No. 3 seed Tallahassee will play No. 6 Florida Southwestern at 4 p.m. while the No. 4 seed Northwest Florida State College will play No. 5 Indian River State College at 9 p.m.
It is the ninth straight season the Titans have made the Region VIII Tournament, making it to the championship game four times during the run.
Tickets to the tournament are $35 for a four-day pass or $10 per session. You can also watch the games live online via Emerald Coast TV
