Florida Tech Panthers Varsity 8 Rowing Team Earns Two First Place Finishes at Hatter Invitational

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Florida Tech Varsity 8+ earned two first-place finishes at the Hatter Invitational Regatta at Lake Berrisford on Saturday.

The Panthers cruised to a first-place finish in the first race with a time of 6:01.5, 12.2 ahead of Embry-Riddle and 17.1 ahead of UCF.

A little bit later, the Varsity 8+ crossed the finish line in 6:03.1, defeating Stetson by 7.4 seconds (6:10.5) for their second win of the day.
