CLEAN-UP SUPPLIES WILL BE PROVIDED TO PARTICIPANTS

The Keep Brevard Beautiful 40th Annual Trash Bash, held in conjunction with The Great American Cleanup, will be held on Saturday, April 1, from 8 a.m. to noon. The City of Melbourne is seeking volunteers (children must be accompanied by an adult) to help clean up our community.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Keep Brevard Beautiful 40th Annual Trash Bash, held in conjunction with The Great American Cleanup, will be held on Saturday, April 1, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.

The City of Melbourne is seeking volunteers (children must be accompanied by an adult) to help clean up our community.

Participants will have the opportunity to earn volunteer hours and help with the mission to keep plastic and litter out of our vulnerable lagoon, ocean and other waterways. Breakfast, snacks and t-shirts (limited amount) will be provided.

Please bring your own water bottle and dress appropriately for the weather. If you own a kayak or paddleboard, Riverview Park is the perfect place to join the cleanup.

The City of Melbourne has nine site locations that volunteers can go to participate:

■ Melbourne City Hall – 900 E. Strawbridge Avenue
■ Ascension Catholic School – 2950 N Harbor City Boulevard
■ Carver Community Park – 1092 Swan Street
■ Riverview Park (kayaks, small vessels and paddleboards only) – 2301-2499 Irwin Street
■ Joseph N. Davis Community Center – 2547 S Grant Street
■ Eddie L. Taylor Sr. Community Center – 3316 Monroe Street
■ Palm Bay High School – 101 Pirate Lane
■ Paradise Beach at Howard E. Futch Memorial Park – 2301 Florida A1A
■ Southwest Park – 400 W Florida Avenue
