Florida Highway Patrol reported to the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash Wednesday morning involving a vehicle on northbound I-95 on the CR-509 overpass.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol reported to the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash Wednesday morning involving a vehicle that claimed the life of a 40-year-old Palm Bay man on northbound I-95 on the CR-509 overpass.

The crash was reported around 12 a.m.

The preliminary investigation has revealed the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on I-95 when he struck the right rear of a Nissan Sentra changing lanes driven by a 23-year-old Palm Bay man, with a 20-year-old Palm Bay woman as his passenger inside the vehicle.

State troopers say the motorcyclist was dead at the scene.
