22-Year-Old Man Dies After Single Vehicle Crash in Brevard County on Jay Jay Road

A 22-year-old Edgewater man was killed after a vehicle crash on Jay Jay Road, east of Hallum Avenue.

BREVARD COUNTY • MIMS, FLORIDA – A 22-year-old Edgewater man was killed after a vehicle crash on Jay Jay Road, east of Hallum Avenue.

Authorities say the driver was traveling westbound on Jay Jay Road, east of Hallum Avenue, when he made an abrupt left turn into gravel parking lot, then lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree around 10:46 p.m..

The driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
