Brevard County Fire Rescue Honors Crew Members, Brevard County Sheriff’s Office for Life Saving Efforts

Brevard County Fire Rescue’s Office of EMS held a recognition ceremony to honor personnel from Brevard County Fire Rescue and Brevard County Sheriff’s Office for saving a life earlier this year. (BCFR image)

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue’s Office of EMS held a recognition ceremony to honor personnel from Brevard County Fire Rescue and Brevard County Sheriff’s Office for saving a life earlier this year.

The ceremony, held at Station 43 in Merritt Island, reunited the patient with the first responders credited with saving his life.

■ Firefighter/EMT George Ricks

“Special thanks to Outback Steakhouse Merritt Island, Publix Super Market at First Merritt Shopping Center, and Back Brevard Heroes for their support in the recognition of our personnel,” said a Brevard County Fire Rescue spokesperson.
