Brevard County Fire Rescue to Host Grand Opening Ceremony for Fire Station 49 on Nov. 9 in Viera

Brevard County Fire Rescue invites the community to the grand opening ceremony of Fire Station 49. This new facility, built and funded in collaboration with The Viera Company, will extend our Viera service to encompass the area’s growth. (BCFR image)

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue invites the community to the grand opening ceremony of Fire Station 49. This new facility, built and funded in collaboration with The Viera Company, will extend our Viera service to encompass the area’s growth.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. on November 9. The Station is located at 8588 Bower Lane in Melbourne.

The grand opening celebration will include a formal dedication ceremony with remarks from community leaders and County administration.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the new fire station and meet the brave men and women who serve as our firefighters. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.

“We are excited to share this important milestone with the community. The opening of Fire Station 49 represents our continued commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents,” said Brevard County Fire Chief Patrick Voltaire.
