Satellite High Boy’s Tennis Places Second in FHSAA Class 2A Championship for Third Straight Year

Satellite was the last remaining public school team in the state tournament

The Satellite High School boy’s tennis team came in second place in the FHSAA Class 2A Championship for the third consecutive year. In the semifinals, Satellite advanced past The Bolles School, 4-1, and was the last remaining public school team in the state tournament. (BPS image)

BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA – The Satellite High School boy’s tennis team came in second place in the FHSAA Class 2A Championship for the third consecutive year.

In the semifinals, Satellite advanced past The Bolles School, 4-1.

The team was powered by the efforts of the doubles team of Roman Vigliotti and Marcus Hatzakis, who dropped their first set but stormed back for the win, 8-4.

Caleb Domkowski and Jack Lindstrom did their part by winning the doubles and both singles matches.

Ultimately, Satellite was defeated by American Heritage (Plantation) in the final, 5-0.

Satellite was the last remaining public school team in the state tournament.
