BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – The City’s Sanitation Division will be offering a new method for requesting special pick-ups of large/bulky items.
From June 1 through September 30, the Division will be piloting a combination online form/e-mail/voice message request system.
Requests for special pick-ups will be made via one of the following methods:
■ Online form submission
■ E-mail a request to specialpickup@cityofrockledge.org with name, address, and item type
■ Dial (321) 221-7540, Option 3 to leave a recorded request on the voice message box
All requests will be funneled into a singular inbox and scheduled in the order in which they are received.
Effective October 1, this will be the permanent procedure for special pick-up requests. Click here for a complete description of special pick-up terms and conditions.
Hurricane/storm debris should not be called in as a special pick-up.
The City has specific debris pick-up routes in order to ensure a complete pass of the city.
In the event of a hurricane/storm, please place your tree debris curbside, and it will be collected as we make our way through the city (there may be more than one pass depending on volume).
