Pineapple Cove Donation Supports Aging Matters in Brevard Urgent Kitchen Needs to Serve Brevard Seniors

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy recently donated $22,000 to Aging Matters in Brevard

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Pineapple Cove Classical Academy recently donated $22,000 to Aging Matters in Brevard to support their urgent kitchen equipment repair and replacement needs to serve Brevard County seniors.

Aging Matters in Brevard’s monthly subscription club supports its Meals on Wheels program, which allows senior adults to live at home when they are no longer able to cook for themselves.

Trained volunteers visit each weekday around noon, providing Brevard seniors with a hot meal, a friendly visit, and a safety check. They can refer participants to additional services and can even initiate an emergency response if necessary.

Currently, Meals on Wheels delivers meals to 1,200 homebound individuals in Brevard County, with a waiting list of close to 500. The Community Kitchen also prepares meals for adult and children’s daycare centers during the summer.

Aging Matters in Brevard continues as a leader in senior programming and provides the finest in comprehensive and coordinated services.

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy in Palm Bay and the MH Williams Construction Group of Melbourne provided the most support, with many other donations from Space Coat area businesses and individuals.

“Pineapple Cove is dedicated to bringing our community together,” said Pineapple Cove President and Founder John Moran.

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy began as a daycare and preschool program in Brevard County. Based on the idea of “Always Give Back More Than You Take,” Pineapple Cove has grown its passion for community involvement. As an “A-rated” K-12 charter school in Brevard, PCCA students maintain high levels of success and have the highest graduation level among charter schools.

Moran and partners recently announced plans for an amenity-filled community pool and recreation space to be built in Palm Bay, adjacent to the Pineapple Cove Classical Academy’s Palm Bay Campus.
