Eastern Florida State College Men’s Tennis Named to Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team

The Eastern Florida State College men’s tennis team was named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team for the 2022-23 season. The Titans excelled on and off the court as the team finished third in the NJCAA Division I National Championship and posted a GPA of 3.58. (EFSC image)

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s tennis team was named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team for the 2022-23 season.

The Titans excelled on and off the court as the team finished third in the NJCAA Division I National Championship and posted a GPA of 3.58.

The team was one of eight teams in the nation to be honored as an All-Academic team and had six players named to the ITA Scholar-Athletes list as well.

To make the scholar-athletes list, the student-athlete must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and played this season.

Hugo Car, Jack Dixon, Lucas Gonzalez, Jett Leong, Enric Porcar, and Eric Tripathi all made the Scholar-Athlete list for the Titans. Car and Gonzalez were also named ITA JUCO All-Americans.
