BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Authorities in Brevard County are conducting a death investigation on Saturday after a body was found in the Indian River Lagoon near Melbourne.
The body was found Saturday morning by a paddle boarder.
Eyewitness reports say authorities pulled the body from the river early this morning.
The identity of the deceased is not yet known at this time.
