BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – College is costly, but ROTC offers full scholarship opportunities. The scholarships can be worth over $260,000. Included are full tuition and fees, a $1,200 yearly book stipend, and a $420/month living stipend, dorms, and meals.
Army ROTC develops future leaders for the United States and our communities.
ROTC students get hands-on training, but more importantly, are surrounded by a family of support to help keep them safe and on track at college.
Upon Commissioning, starting salaries can be up to $70,000.
The Army provides 30 vacation days annually, comprehensive healthcare, housing assistance, cash allowances to cover the cost of living, GI Bill benefits, family services, and career support after you serve.
The Army’s Officer Corps has over 20 broad career fields, provides funded advanced degree options, grants Secret Security Clearances, and allows your service obligation to be part-time through the National Guard and Reserves in a state of your choosing.

Eastern Florida State College offers an Army ROTC program through a cross enrollment agreement with Florida Tech and an Air Force ROTC (AFROTC) program through the University of Central Florida.
The ROTC programs provide general military science curriculum with instruction covering military fundamentals. One, two, three, and four-year scholarships are available. Students who complete ROTC and graduate with a 4-year degree will be commissioned as officers.
ROTC Admission Requirements
A student must be at least 17 years of age, be able to complete the Senior ROTC course and all degree requirements prior to reaching age 31, pass the medical examination and be accepted by the college or university.
