Eastern Florida State Titans Men’s Basketball Defeats Central Georgia Tech 69-45 at FSW Classic

Titans are now 6-1 on the season

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team bounced back with a win Friday evening at the FSW Classic in Fort Myers.

The 20th-ranked Titans, who are now 6-1 on the season, defeated Central Georgia Tech 69-45.

The game was close throughout the first half of the first half, but the Titans finished on a run to lead 35-22 at halftime.

They would continue to play well, winning the second half as well on their way to a 24-point win. Carlos Cortijo scored a season-high 16 points while Luca Colceag had his fourth double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds while Emondrek Erkins-Ford also had 13 points in the win.

Christian Torres had 14 points and Emmanuel Jones added 13 for Central Georgia Tech.

Eastern Florida State College will be back at Titan Field House Monday night against Daytona Elite Academy. Game time is 6 p.m. and admission is free.
