Palm Bay Fire Rescue Units Extinguish Residential Blaze Near Lipscomb Street

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Fire Rescue units responded to a call after the communications center received a report on Tuesday around 4 p.m.

According to ports, as units were being dispatched for a smoke investigation, one 9-11 caller related this was a house on fire.

“As units arrived, our company officers reported a single-family home that was over 50 percent involved with fire. A downed power line and dense vegetation surrounding the homemade normal fire ground operations are difficult,” said a Palm Bay fire spokesperson.

During the incident, a brush fire started adding to the complexity of this fire.

As additional units came onto the scene, each hazard was quickly mitigated, and both fires were kept under control.

There were no reports of injuries.
