BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball player Amelia Hassett picked up another big honor at the NJCAA Women’s Basketball Coaches Association 3-on-3 Showcase at the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame Weekend in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The sophomore forward who has committed to the University of Kentucky was named one of the eight 3-on-3 Showcase All-Americans at the tournament, leading her team to the semifinals of the tournament.

Hassett set the program record for double-doubles in a season with 21 and finished the season averaging 19 points and 12.7 rebounds per game for the Titans and finished her two-year career with 919 points and 659 rebounds.

The Albury New South Wales, Australia native was named an NJCAA Division I All-America third team and was the FCSAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Year.

Head coach MJ Baker also led her team to the semifinals of the tournament.
