55-Year-Old Man Killed Sunday Evening After Being Struck By Freight Train in Cocoa

Cocoa police: victim identified as Harold Lafferty

Cocoa police have arrested a suspected drunk driver who hit multiple cars on State Road 520 between Clearlake Road and Fiske Boulevard. According to the a Cocoa police spokesperson, the victim was identified as Harold Lafferty, and an investigation of the circumstances of the fatal incident is underway.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – A 55-year-old man was killed Sunday evening after being struck by a freight train while he was trying to cross the railroad tracks in the 1800 block of Michigan Avenue in Cocoa.

According to the a Cocoa police spokesperson, the victim was identified as Harold Lafferty, and an investigation of the circumstances of the fatal incident is underway.
