The Board of Directors of the South Brevard Debutante Assembly Committee introduced the 2024 debutantes. The coterie of young ladies presented included Miss Sofia Mehnaz Alikhan, Miss Zoey Marie Cook, Miss Emma Faye Davidson, Miss Arabella Brewster Dias, Miss Kendall Joy Johnson, Miss Morgan Nicole Kellner, Miss Lillian Grace Lewis, Miss Isabella Audrey Militano, Miss Molly Kathleen Mullen, Miss Daryl Anne Nowakowski, Miss Kayla Wren Orlando, Miss Talia Marie Razzino, Miss Sophia Symeonides, and Miss Braelyn Shea Wahy.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Board of Directors of the South Brevard Debutante Assembly Committee introduced the 2024 debutantes during a formal presentation marking the 55th year of the program which was held on May 26 at the Eau Gallie Yacht Club.

The first presentation was also held at the Yacht Club in 1969.

The coterie of young ladies presented included Miss Sofia Mehnaz Alikhan, Miss Zoey Marie Cook, Miss Emma Faye Davidson, Miss Arabella Brewster Dias, Miss Kendall Joy Johnson, Miss Morgan Nicole Kellner, Miss Lillian Grace Lewis, Miss Isabella Audrey Militano, Miss Molly Kathleen Mullen, Miss Daryl Anne Nowakowski, Miss Kayla Wren Orlando, Miss Talia Marie Razzino, Miss Sophia Symeonides, and Miss Braelyn Shea Wahy.

Miss Dias is a third-generation debutante whose grandmother debuted at the first ball in 1969. Miss Cook, Miss Davidson, Miss Johnson, Miss Kellner, Miss Lewis, Miss Mullen, and Miss Wahy are carrying on the tradition of their mothers or sisters who were also presented by the South Brevard Debutante Assembly Committee.

“These exceptional young women have been selected for their unprecedented accomplishments and outstanding character,” said Enie Windle, Vice President of the organization.

The South Brevard Debutantes are a remarkable group of young women who have achieved unprecedented accomplishments and demonstrated outstanding character. Since 1969, 942 young women from Brevard County have made their debut during the ball.

Each year, the Debutante Assembly Committee (DAC), which was founded to celebrate and support these extraordinary individuals, carefully selects the Debutantes based on their exceptional qualities, talents, and achievements.

These accomplished young women are not only academically successful, but they also embody integrity, kindness, and a strong sense of community. They have demonstrated their leadership skills, compassion, and dedication in various areas including academics, arts, sports, and community service, making a positive impact on the world around them.

Each year the DAC attempts to invite young women from the community to become debutantes. It is the committee’s intent to recognize and honor girls who have exemplified the qualities of commitment to family, school, and community.community.
