WATCH: Knights Physical Therapy and Wellness Celebrates One Year Anniversary

Viera Facility Partnering with Athletic Club of the Avenues

WATCH: Nicole Knights, owner of Knights Physical Therapy and Wellness, in Viera, talked with the Friday Night Locker Room’s Orville Susong, about Knights’ one-year anniversary. Susong also spoke with a couple of their patients, who were both very satisfied with the treatment they have received.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Knights Physical Therapy and Wellness recently celebrated its one-year anniversary. The facility is located at 6431 Lake Andrew Dr., Suite 103, Melbourne, at The Avenue Viera. Services offered by Knights Physical Therapy and Wellness include, but are not limited to, injury prevention, post-operative rehabilitation, mobility enhancement, and chronic pain management.

My broadcasting/business partner, Orville Susong, had the opportunity to sit down and talk with the owner, Nicole Knights, about their first year. She told Susong, “Things are going great. We have the best team of therapists.” She continued, “We have been successful each month and the company continues to grow.”

Knights Physical Therapy and Wellness receives patients from referring physicians, word-of-mouth, and patient success. While Susong and I were visiting their facility, we had the opportunity to talk with two of Knights’ patients, who were both very satisfied with the treatment they have received.

Knights is very excited about the upcoming partnership with Athletic Club of the Avenues, which is next door to her facility, and is scheduled to open July 15. She said, “We will have the opportunity to use the aquatic center. So, in the near future we will be adding aquatic physical therapy to Knights Physical Therapy and Wellness.”

Steve Wilson was born in DeRidder, Louisiana and grew up in both New Orleans and Macon, Georgia.  He moved to Brevard County in 1984 and retired from local government as the Community Advocate/Assistant to the City Manager with the City of Rockledge in 2018.

Wilson is especially proud of his chairing two fundraisers in support of pediatric cancer research through the St. Baldrick’s Foundation in honor of Merritt Island resident Julie Spurlock that raised over $25,000.00.

He has been a partner, along with Orville Susong, for the past 24 years with the Friday Night Locker Room, a broadcasting team that covers and reports on a wide variety of local events that are of significance to the residents of the Space Coast and beyond. Their mission is to promote youth sports, support first responders and law enforcement personnel, and showcase community and charitable events that are produced by our nonprofit partners in central Florida.

The Friday Night Locker Room has awarded hundreds of sports achievement plaques to Brevard County student-athletes over the years. They have also awarded more than $18,000 in academic scholarships to Brevard County high school seniors.
