Brevard Public Schools Prepares to Welcome Students Back to Class on Monday

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Summer break is coming to an end as Brevard Public Schools prepares to welcome students back to class tomorrow, Monday, August 10, for the start of the 2026-27 school year.
The first day of school is Monday, Aug. 10, and district officials are encouraging families to save the school calendar now and begin planning for the year ahead, including vacations, appointments, and finishing any last-second back-to-school shopping.
The 2026-27 calendar includes several extended breaks and long weekends for students throughout the school year.
