Brevard County Fire Rescue Crews Extinguish Structure Fire in Melbourne Beach

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE BEACH, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue crews extinguished a structure fire in Melbourne Beach on the 2500 block of A1A on Sunday.

“The Station 64 crew was alerted to the fire by someone banging on the station doors,” said a Brevard County Fire Rescue spokesperson.

According to officials, there was nobody in the home and no injuries.

Brevard County Fire Rescue Engine/Rescue 64 was first due, along with Engines 63 and 65, Rescue 63, Hazmat 48, Districts 60 and 80, and the Fire Inspectors.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
