BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Heritage Panthers four-star athlete Demetres Samuel Jr. flipped his commitment from Syracuse to the University of Florida on Wednesday.

“UF has been a dream school for me since I was a jit so making this move was definitely a dream come true, feels like I’m playing in my own backyard but the coaching staff and the energy that they bring it’s definitely special,” said Samuel Jr. when speaking with Space Coast Daily Sports Editor Juan Rodriguez.

Samuel Jr. committed to Syracuse back in April. According to On3.com, he will also be reclassifying to the class of 2025.
