BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College Department of Security is Now Hiring! Security Officers perform some of the following functions, including:
• Patrol the College campus
• Traffic control/security at Campus Events
• Provide assistance to students and guests
• Take reports and conduct investigations
• Parking Enforcement
• Work with local law enforcement
Hiring Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Previous or current Law Enforcement, Corrections, or Probation Officer (preferred but not required)
• Must hold a valid Florida Driver’s License
• Must successfully complete a background check

• Starting Pay $16 an hour, additional compensation for armed officers
