Eastern Florida State Men’s Basketball Defeats Coastal Florida Prep 100-56 in Season Opener

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team won their home opener on Friday night.

The Titans defeated Coastal Florida Prep 100-56 as head coach Thomas Gray won his Titans debut at Titan Field House. Eastern Florida State College scored 50 points in each half to cruise to victory.

Corey Caulker led Eastern Florida State College with 22 points, six assists, and four steals while teammate Fredy-Salam Sylla had 16 points and eight rebounds.

Wesley Isoje scored 13 points off the bench and Chandler Watts also finished with 13 while Emondrek Erkins-Ford had 12 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.

The Titans (1-0) will travel to Idaho for the CSI Battle for the Boot beginning Thursday. They will return to Titan Field House on Nov. 12 against North Florida Prep at 6:30 p.m.
