Last week, department members participated in training sessions to become thoroughly familiar with the operation and features of Squad 12. The vehicle is equipped with Advanced Life Support capabilities, enabling firefighters to deliver faster and more effective medical care during emergencies.

Beyond its medical role, Squad 12 is also outfitted with a water tank, pump, and four-wheel drive system, making it a valuable resource in combating brush fires and other fire-related incidents. This versatility ensures the department can respond to a wide range of emergencies with greater efficiency and readiness.

“The addition of Squad 12 significantly strengthens our ability to protect the residents of Titusville,” said department leadership. “Its dual-function design allows us to be better prepared for both medical and fire emergencies, ultimately keeping our community safer.”

The Titusville Fire Department remains committed to advancing its services and resources to meet the growing needs of the community.
