Williams is facing charges of burglary, battery, resisting, and violation of probation in connection with 2023 charges involving grand theft auto, fleeing, and drug possession.
BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police K-9 Maverick and Officer Dan Rhoades arrested a suspect who fled from officers on Tuesday morning and was later captured after attempting to flee officers a second time Tuesday night.
The suspect was identified as 37-year-old Rude Williams.
“Early Tuesday patrol officers responded to a report from a woman who said Williams broke into her home on Jackson Street when she told him to leave, he hit her,” said Cocoa Police spokesperson.
Officers responded, and the suspect fled on foot and was not located. Bulletins were issued for his arrest, and he was safely apprehended just before midnight.
Williams is facing charges of burglary, battery, resisting, and violation of probation in connection with 2023 charges involving grand theft auto, fleeing, and drug possession.
The suspect was safely taken into custody without further incident.
