Todd Pokyrwa and The Viera Company Support a Wide range of charitable endeavors
BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Viera Company President Todd Pokrywa again joined the hockey greats for Hockey Hall Of Fame Weekend in Toronto, Canada.
“I was honored to participate once again in the Hockey Hall of Fame (HHOF) Induction Weekend in Toronto,” said Pokrywa.
“After guest coaching in the Legends Classic in 2021 and playing in the game in 2023, it was fantastic to be back behind the bench this year, alongside outgoing HHOF Chairman and Honored Member Lanny McDonald and best-selling author Kevin Shea, as we took part in a memorable match-up of Team Eric Lindros vs. Team Jayna Hefford.”
Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2024:
Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame for 2024 were:
• Pavel Datsyuk – multiple Stanley Cup-winning forward from Russia.
• Shea Weber – hard-shooting defenseman from Canada.
• Jeremy Roenick – high-scoring American forward.
• Natalie Darwitz & Krissy Pohl (Wendell) – pillars of U.S. women’s Olympic hockey.
• Colin Campbell – longtime NHL executive.
• David Poile – the NHL’s all-time winningest General Manager
“A special thanks to the entire team at the HHOF for making this weekend unforgettable, especially Jacqueline Schwartz, Kevin Shea, Michael Beda, Anthony Sorrentino, Peter Jagla, Kelly Masse, and Natalie Gordon,” said Pokrywa.
“Your hard work and dedication to the mission of the HHOF and the weekend’s events made this experience truly special once again.”
Mission of the Hockey Hall of Fame
As a non-profit organization and as a registered charity, the HHOF exists in order to honor and memorialize individuals who have brought special distinction to the game of hockey and those who have made outstanding contributions to the development and advancement of hockey anywhere in the world.
The HHOF also strives to collect, research, preserve, exhibit, and promote objects, images, and other historical materials connected with the game at all levels.
“As a long-time supporter of the HHOF, I am pleased to do my small part to support their mission and important events like those this past weekend. I am already looking forward to 2025,” said Pokrywa.
