Brevard Parkinson’s Alliance Presents ‘It’s More Than a Tremor Educational Event Set Oct. 4

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Brevard Parkinson’s Alliance “It’s More Than a Tremor” event is scheduled for Saturday, October 4, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at St. John’s the Evangelist Catholic Community, 5644 Stadium Parkway in Viera.

This highly anticipated event will bring together medical professionals, patients, caregivers, and advocates to understand the non-movement symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease.

The event will feature Dr. Mitesh Lotia, Medical Director for Movement Disorders from Advent Health, and Dr. David Medina, Medical Director for Nova Psychiatry. It will also include a Sneak Peek of the new Parkinson’s Live program being developed by the Brevard Parkinson’s Alliance in conjunction with AgeUcate, LLC from Hurst, TX.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from the Doctors working with Parkinson’s Disease on how to help or minimize the Non-Movement symptoms that no one talks about. The event will also offer a space for networking with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and fellow patients to share experiences and insights.
