BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Boat parades are among the most celebrated holiday events on the Space Coast, and the much-awaited and popular Merritt Island Christmas Boat Parade happened Saturday, Dec. 7.

Kaleb and Sarah from Blue Marlin Real Estate hosted the 2024 Merritt Island Christmas Boat Parade again this year.

Boaters showcased the spirit of the season by adorning their seaworthy vessels with strands of lights, reindeer, and other decorations that represent our tropical-style traditions.

One of the best viewing locations was at the Sykes Creek Parkway Bridge.

The parade proceeds north through Sykes Creek and the adjacent canals, ending at State Road 528.

The best viewing is at the Sykes Creek Parkway Bridge. Do not park or stop on the bridge, there is plenty of parking along the Causeway leading up to the bridge. The parade takes off at 6 p.m. and proceeds north through Sykes Creek and the adjacent canals, ending at State Road 528 at approximately 9 p.m.
