Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival Set January 22-26 in Cape Canaveral

BREVARD COUNTY • FLORIDA — The five-day Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival will be held Wednesday, January 22-26, at the Radisson Resort at the Port, 8701 Astronaut Boulevard. in Cape Canaveral. Register HERE.
Featured are over 70 field trips to birding hot spots in Brevard and neighboring counties led by skilled birding leaders, plus an Expo Hall with optics dealers, international tour companies, and conservation non-profits.
Admission to the Expo Hall is free, and free presentations will be held in adjacent rooms. Field trips are scheduled in the morning, so you can visit the Expo Hall and attend the presentations in the afternoons.
Keynotes, presented by well-known birding experts, are at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the close of the Expo Hall.
A Young Birders event at Jetty Park, free to youth ages 8-17 with their guardian (limited to the first 40 registrants), is being sponsored by the Canaveral Port Authority. Costs will vary for field trips and keynotes.
The Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival will introduce you to our area’s birding hot spots, some great trip leaders and presenters, and, if you are not a birder, to one of our country’s fastest-growing hobbies, with wellness benefits and fun for all ages.
