SHRIMPFEAST Annual Event by Propeller Club of Port Canaveral Set for April 11

Funds support the Maritime Education Programs

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA — The Propeller Club of Cape Canaveral will host their annual SHRIMPFEAST on April 11, from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. in Terminal 5 in Port Canaveral.

$50 early bird registration per person by March 17; and $60 per person after March 17. Free drinks are included. Tickets must be purchased in advance – no door sales.

Funds support the Maritime Education Programs that are offered to Brevard County students interested in pursuing a career in the maritime industry.

Josh Hester, President of the Propeller Club said, “By supporting maritime education, we are investing in the development of a skilled workforce capable of tackling the challenges and embracing the opportunities presented by the maritime industry.”

Students involved with this education program are shown the diversity of careers from navigating modern vessels, managing ports efficiently and participating in the always challenging technological advancements.

Tropical attire is encouraged. You could win the best Hawaiian shirt contest. There is a silent auction as well as a live auction with Sheriff Ivey. Entertainment by the Mango Brothers Band.

The Propeller Club

The Propeller Club is a business network dedicated to the promotion of the maritime industry, commerce and global trade. They help foster relationship building and communication among Port Canaveral stakeholders, maritime industry, local businesses and the broader community.

The Club hosts monthly luncheons that feature guest speakers – open to the public; and host special events: the annual ShrimpFeast; July fireworks dinner; and an annual Christmas Party.
